Canadian prime minister and feminist hunk Justin Trudeau recently elbowed a female colleague in the chest during a melee on the floor of parliament.

But despite the widespread condemnation Trudeau received for his actions, the prime minister’s popularity has surged. According to a recent poll, Trudeau has “hit a new personal best” in popularity, with 54 percent of respondents voicing a preference for Trudeau over opposition party leaders.

Trudeau is also very popular in the United States, especially among liberals who are tired of pretending to be excited about Hillary Clinton. He’s a trained boxer and a self-professed feminist and ubiquitous hunk who explains quantum computing (incorrectly) and helps people in wheelchairs and does other adorable things wherever he goes. Pretty cool, eh?
