Maybe Bill was still recovering from a long night out, or maybe he just didn’t find Hillary’s “historic” speech as praiseworthy as members of the media did. Hillary just doesn’t share his natural charisma, and he probably wasn’t the only one watching who dozed off or flipped over to The Shawshank Redemption.
Seriously, though, the former president was struggling.

Bill certainly perked up toward the end of the night, when he joined his wife on stage and got to play with balloons. He was really excited and probably had to be dragged off stage.
