The artist who drew a nude portrait of Donald Trump that was shown in a London Gallery says she was punched in the face outside her house by a vengeful supporter of the presidential candidate.
Illma Gore, 24, says she was assaulted by a Trump fan near her home in Los Angeles over the weekend, leaving her face bruised.
The artist posted photographs of her raw-looking black eye to Instagram in the aftermath of her injury. Gore said the attack happened around La Cienega Boulevard. Her attacker leaped from a Black Honda Civic, hit her and then fled, she said.
She had recently returned from promoting the controversial nude, which was put on sale by a London gallery. As Heat Street previously reported, the image made a laughing stock of Trump among the crowds visiting the Mayfair Maddox Gallery.

A gallery source said the work has attracted offers in excess of $700,000.
She is currently creating a comparable nude image of Ted Cruz.
Gore blamed Trump, who more than once has appeared to encourage supporters to attack political opponents, for “glamorizing and perpetuating violence.” (Trump denies that he incites violence.)
She says she reported the attack to the police, though the LAPD could not immediately confirm details of the case.
Heat Street has contacted Gore for more information.
