Women Around The World Are Marching En Masse Against Trump

Besides the main Women’s March on Washington, which has attracted more then 500,000 people, hundreds of other women’s protests took place around the world – and all against America’s new, President Donald Trump.

On January 21 women took to the streets across the U.S. in fear that the Presidency of Donald Trump will be a threat to women’s rights and other civil rights. But then the American protests spread across the world, with big crowds turning out Saturday in dozens of cities, including rallies in Sydney, Berlin, Barcelona, London, Paris and Cape Town.

The protests were carried out in solidarity with women’s rights, but in reality against Donald Trump. “Girl Power vs. Trump Tower” and “Dump the Trump” were among many placards carried by women.

Thousands of people marched through Paris on Saturday:
