Not long after Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump graced the debate stage with his first sniffle on Monday evening, a parody account was created on Twitter — @TrumpSniff.
Trump’s sniffles distracted viewers and became the debate’s first meme, with hashtags like #sniffles and #trumpsniff. Trump’s sniffles episode broke out as he claimed that Clinton “doesn’t have the stamina” to be president — timing too good for many on Twitter to resist. Clinton supporters responded on Twitter with questions about Trump’s health, asking if he himself had pneumonia.

The @TrumpSniff parody account contributed to the sniffle meme-madness with photoshopped images of Trump at the podium with a box of tissues, tissues in his nose, the nominee using a neti-pot and Breathe Right strips. The account also generated a number of hashtags, among them #MakeSniffsGreatAgain. While others were seriously wondering: Why is Trump sniffing so much?
