A mum was left shocked when her daughter’s school phoned her to reveal that they had found ALCOHOL in her child’s lunchbox.

The mum had instructed the five-year-old little girl to take a juice pouch from the freezer, but the tot had accidentally nabbed a colorful pouch filled with raspberry vodka by accident.

Seeing the funny side, she couldn’t help share the blunder on Facebook.

She wrote: “EPIC lunchbox fail when you tell your five-year-old Preppie to put a frozen juice pouch in her lunchbox and you forget the other pouches in your freezer!

“Made for a very interesting phone call from the teacher!”

“I apologized for not sending enough for the teachers and they just laughed, thankfully.”

The post got more than 2,000 likes and a string of comments.

It’s not the first time laughable lunchbox fails have been shared online.

One Reddit user posted a picture of what appeared to be a normal, balanced lunch – complete with a roll, a bottle of water and a bag of crisps.

But, if you look a little closer, a can of cat food has managed to sneak in – presumably picked up instead of a can of tuna.

Another picture revealed one parent packed a slice of pizza for their child – and a spoon to eat it with.
