Police in the English county of Durham have issued two mugshots in the hunt for a transgender rapist.
Officers gave members of the public photographs of convicted sex offender Lisa Hauxwell before and after she started to live as a woman.
Members of the public were warned that Hauxwell, who is currently on the run, could be living as either a man or a woman.
Hauxwell, 48, was previously known as Craig Hauxwell.
Police have been unable to find her for months. She has been convicted of two rapes and seven indecent assaults, which took place in 2001 and 2002.

Her last known address was in the English city of Leeds, and she has been missing since April 2016.
She was spotted by surveillance cameras in a shop in Derbyshire last spring – when police were still treating her as a missing person, rather than a fugitive.
Confused reporters not aware of her transgender past described her as a “woman dressed as a man” at the time:

Hauxwell was featured in the “most wanted” section of the BBC’s long-running Crimewatch show, which profiles notorious British criminals.
A spokesman for Durham Police said: “Hauxwell was convicted of two rapes and seven indecent assaults, which were truly horrendous crimes.
“We hope the appeal on Crimewatch will bring new information which ultimately will result in her being locked up and sent to prison to begin her sentence.”
