It all started last week when a woman from Texas named Candace Payne, showed off her latest purchase from Kohls — A Chewbacca mask.
Payne’s hilarious video and contagious laugh had the internet in stitches. The video has been viewed by over 100 million people, making it the most-viewed Facebook Live video ever, according to BBC.
And the hilarious mum of two has now appeared on the Late Late Show with James Corden.
The video shows a very relaxed Chewbacca behind the wheel and a very impatient James Corden eager to get to work, in the passenger seat. And just when you thought this car crew couldn’t get any better, “Star Wars” director J.J. Abrams appears out of nowhere!
Candace doesn’t seem bothered by all the attention; she posted this status on her Facebook page.
“Today has been a whirlwind. I’m grateful for every kind word and comment even if I haven’t replied. Y’all. OVERWHELMED with gratitude. Let’s keep belly laughing again and again. Never imagined finding my “simple joy” would land me more VIEWS on a little FB video than Mark Zuckerberg has followers. INSANE.”

I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of ‘Chewbacca Mum’ in the near future. Well, we hope so.
