NYC Terror Suspect’s Family Restaurant Bombarded with Lacerating Yelp Reviews

Police have apprehended Ahmad Khan Rahami, the man they believe to be behind a series of bombings in Manhattan over the weekend.

It has also been reported that the suspect’s family had previously filed a discrimination lawsuit against the city of Elizabeth, New Jersey, where the family operates a fried chicken restaurant called First American Fried Chicken. The family alleged their business had been targeted with numerous ordinances — over excess hours and noise — because they are Muslim.

(Elizabeth’s mayor strongly denied the accusations)

First American Fried Chicken now has bigger problems. Following the news of Rhami’s arrest, the restaurants Yelp page has been inundated with pun-filled negative reviews from individuals who don’t just like the food and service.

“Unsanitary”

“NOT very American”

Bad terrorist

Hillary fans?

“Explosive diarrhea”

“TERRORSTAN”

Ice cream idiots

“Barf!!!”

Not all the recent reviews were negative, however. User Zach D., who may or may not have actually eaten at the restaurant, rated it “amazing,” and apologized for the unwanted media attention.

Some of the only reviews posted before today were actually fairly positive.
