CNN pundit Sally Kohn used her social media account to outline a “straightforward” plan for removed Donald Trump from office and install Hillary Clinton as the next president of the United States.
Here’s what Kohn tweeted on Wednesday:
Straightforward from here:
1. Impeach Trump & Pence
2. Constitutional crisis
3. Call special election
4. Ryan v Clinton
5. President Clinton
Kohn appears to using a rather expansive definition of the word “straightforward,” but given the wild nature of the 2016 presidential campaign, it would probably be wise to wait a while before dismissing this prognostication altogether. You never know.
Still, Kohn was rightfully mocked for the ambitious nature of her anti-Trump hysteria. Social media users spent the better part of the day ridiculing the tweet. “I’m as anti-Trump as they come and I voted HRC but good god it’s so tone deaf to keep pushing this kinda s**t,” wrote a Twitter used named assbutt. Another suggested Kohn’s list should be replaced with a single point: “Respect the man We The People elected.”
Some Bernie Bros were not thrilled as Kohn’s assumption that most American voters would eagerly support Hillary Clinton again.

2. Would
3. Have
4. Won— Matt Moredick (@Dared3vil666) February 15, 2017
Some Clinton sources have let it be known that Hillary may be “keeping her options open” for the time being in case she decides to run for president a third time in 2020. However, Clinton is likely to have a busy schedule in the near future as she tries to accumulate even more money by giving paid speeches and writing another memoir.
It’s worth noting that Kohn did not specify which “Clinton” is going to be installed as president after the constitution crisis is sparked and the special election called.
Perhaps she was referring to Chelsea Clinton? The former first daughter has been making headlines with her saucy political tweets, and is widely rumored to be considering a career in politics. At 36 years of age, she’s totally (just barely) eligible to run for president. It could happen.
