There are two types of people out there. Those who are content with a soul-crushing 9-5, getting cucked by their boss and those willing to grab life by the balls and be and ALPHA.
This is a story about alphas.
In just a short weekend at Dragon Con, he wrote To Be a Master, a collection of erotic Pokemon GO short stories. Miller put the book up for sale on Amazon in both paperback and e-book form. He even spent a hundred dollars on Facebook and Instagram ads for marketing.
“I was trying to write it as corny and bad as possible,” he said. “So I translated whole sections to Japanese or Indian in Google and then machine translated it back to English.”
To Be a Master eventually hit number one on the erotic e-books section of Amazon.
“It’s like a normal gym battle, except if you lose you get raped,” Miller said.
The anthology was met with mostly glowing reviews on Amazon, with one user calling it “fast-paced, sexy and unapologetically fun.”
But not everybody was an instant fan. Some people bought the book expecting a serious collection of serious Pokemon GO erotica and demanded refunds.
“Some people got offended but i just ignored it,” Miller said. “It’s erotica, I don’t know what they expect.”
After a few months on Amazon and almost forgetting about the book, Miller checked his bank account to find a he was a few thousand dollars richer. Miller used the proceeds to buy an MSI gaming laptop and DJ equipment.
It just goes to show that not all role models are CEOs and athletes. Some just need a laptop, an Amazon publisher’s account and a dream.
