Parents Strongly Cautioned
Taylor Swift may be one of the world’s highest-paid female musicians, but she also has her share of haters — including a white supremacist Twitter user whose post went viral when she compared a part of Swift’s anatomy to… a ham sandwich.
Louisiana mother Jennifer Mayers, whose Twitter feed includes a host of racist and homophobic messages, posted a photograph last month that compared her daughter’s and Taylor Swift’s vaginas using two ham sandwiches. Although posted a month ago, the picture took the social media world by storm this week, with more than 2,000 retweets. The picture was accompanied by posts pointing out Swift’s dating history.

But can you really be surprised when Ms. Mayers has blessed the Internet with such gracious messages in the past?

As you can imagine, most of the attention Mayers has received has been decidedly negative, mocking the delusional mother with the hashtag #IfMyVaginaWasASandwich, allowing users to provide their own interpretations of the graphic aid.

To Ms. Mayers, however, this is not a joke. The mother-by-day, blogger-by-night tweeted a link to her blog, An Elegant Life by Jennifer, Thursday evening. She stressed that she was not “shaming Taylor Swift,” but rather that “She [Taylor] is shaming herself.” Ms. Mayers continued: “She is an influence to innocent young girls like my daughters who look up to her. She is in the public eye and should be setting a good example of purity and Christianity.”
Ms. Mayers was even so charitable so as to pray for Taylor and remind her that: “no amount of album sales or awards will save your soul.” Nor will any number of retweets.
