Members of the marketing team behind the new Power Rangers are probably wiping the sweat from their brow, breathing a sweet sigh of relief. Their new cast is politically correct!
After the original snafu with their first promo picture, featuring the women Power Rangers in boob armor and heels, their new promos are actually getting good reception from social justice-y types.
Wow, late to the party here but this new Power Rangers cast is diverse as shit. Love it ????????

When you're surprised by just how diverse the new Power Rangers are going to be and you burst into tears of joy at almost 3:30 AM

Power Rangers has been a diverse shows since its inception, but that doesn’t mean the new Power Rangers couldn’t have stepped on a big ol’ outragaconda.
The Original 6 will forever be my favorite and best team of Power Rangers! #RIPThuyTrang pic.twitter.com/LkND4uxu1c

Remember that in the original show, the black ranger was black, one of the women rangers wore pink, and the yellow ranger was Asian. As the kids might say today: Problematic.

In the new one, first of all, the black guy is the blue ranger now, not the black one. Whew! The black ranger is now an Asian guy. (Not ninja black or anything racist, just normal black.)

And then the yellow ranger is Latina and not Asian anymore. Is there any racist association with Latinos and the color yellow? Please don’t be. I just want to see the new Power Rangers in peace.

Good job, Power Rangers! You dodged a controversy! Let’s just wait to see how long it will take for you to be labelled problematic like every other piece of art ever created ever.
