Celebrity science pundit Neil deGrasse Tyson has been tweeting about the Olympic this week. As you might expect, the tweets are astronomically bad, and have rightfully been the subject of internet mockery.

Exactly, and given our enthusiasm for the 1st Amendment, the least we should expect is for our top science pundits to stop tweeting such hot garbage.
Twitter eviscerated the celebrity space icon for dumping all over America during the Olympics, and he totally deserved it.
Tyson might still be recovering from the savaging he received over his proposal for a new “virtual country” called Rationalia in which “all policy shall be based on the weight of evidence.”
Neil deGrasse Tyson appears to suffer from a debilitating urge to ruin everything for everyone. He’s the worst, but at least it’s fun to mock him.
