What would Milo say?

Online accounts maintained by Ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones apparently have been hacked and the stolen material — including explicit nude pictures and personal items such as her driver’s license and passport —  posted publicly on her personal website.

The website, JustLeslie.com, was taken down after the hacker somehow gained access to Jones’ mobile cphone or iCloud account and stole the material. Jones has yet to comment on the internet assault.

In July, the actress came under fire from supporters of conservative provocateur and Breitbart Tech Editor Milo Yiannopoulos. She temporarily left Twitter after the eracist abuse.

The social media site blamed Milo for the abuse and he was permanently banned from Twitter. Some have speculated that devotees of the alt-right icon are responsible for the hacking but there is no evidence of this.

Jones’ fans were predictably furious at the latest incident.

Ghostbusters director Paul Feig called it “an absolute outrage”.
