Lena Dunham wants to remove all the big bad guns from the ads for the new Jason Bourne movie. The socially aware celeb recently shared the following Instagram post from Girls co-producer Tami Sagher.

“Good idea … let’s go!” Dunham wrote in response. Even Gawker thinks this is a really dumb idea, probably because it is.

The Jason Bourne series is about a highly-trained secret agent (played by Matt Damon) who kills people with guns and other things. Damon, for his part, supports total gun confiscation of the kind that was implemented in Australia two decades ago. The celeb actor has also said he prefers Jason Bourne to James Bond because the Bond is a misogynist weakling.

Here are a few options for other things Matt Damon could hold in those Jason Bourne movie posters that celebrities might find agreeable.
