Lena Dunham was treated at an Upper East Side hospital late Thursday after she “tripped” over her flip-flop and suffered a “stupid sprain,” the socially aware celebrity announced on Instagram.
The Lenox Hill hospital where Dunham was treated is the same celeb-friendly Upper East Side location where Beyonce and her aggressive security detail took over the maternity ward during the birth of her celebrity child Blue Ivy.
Prior to suffering the flip-flop injury, Dunham gave an interview to Food & Wine magazine in which announced her support for the proposition that sushi is “cultural appropriation.”
