R. Kelly, the controversial musical artist whose past it littered with allegations of sexual assault, will not perform at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony on January 20.

The “I Believe I Can Fly” singer announced on Twitter that “despite the rumors circulating online, R. Kelly will not be performing at this years inauguration ceremony.” He concluded on a note of finality: “End. Of. Story.”

Some users of social media speculated that Kelly’s tweet was a bizarre response to (unverified) allegations that Donald Trump had engaged in a “golden showers” urination party with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel room. Like, Trump, R Kelly has been the subject of unproven, golden shower-related rumor-mongering.

“I hope that R. Kelly & the press realize these rumors started b/c of Trump’s proclivity,” wrote Twitter user Hercules Mulligan.

Few actual celebrities have signed on to perform at Trump’s inauguration, probably because most celebrities supported Hillary Clinton and think Donald Trump is bad. The musical lineup for next week’s bash includes 3 Doors Down, Toby Keith, and various “YouTube performers,” whatever that means.

Trump reportedly sought out big name acts such as Celine Dion, Elton John, and KISS to perform at his inauguration, but they turned him down. Fans expecting another performance by the USA Freedom Kids are likely to be disappointed as well, given that the musical children are currently involved in legal action against Trump.
