It’s not exactly news that there are celebrities who don’t like Donald Trump. But the stars of Fox’s Batman origins show Gotham, have a special kind of hate for the President-elect.
The collective cast of the crime show don’t just think Trump is defective but downright dangerous.
Robin Lord Taylor, who plays Penguin, has signed up to House of Cards creator Beau Willimon’s weird anti-Trump organization Action Group Network.

Cory Michael Smith, who stars as the Riddler, frequently posts hostile tweets about someone he thinks is an ‘asshole’.
Imagine a President Trump beginning trial about a month before his inauguration for allegedly raping a 13 year old. https://t.co/DFgmXiysv6

You can thank those first responders by PAYING YOUR TAXES and helping the rest of us pay their salaries and rebuild the station. #asshole https://t.co/A5FMnbX1EV

Ask yourself if you want the president to be desperately and manically tweeting in the middle of the night about sex tapes and conspiracies. https://t.co/EOGlxjgWfN

Erin Richards, who plays mad nightclub owner Barbara Kean in the show, couldn’t vote in the election since she’s Welsh. But she’s big into making scatological references and re-tweeting Hitler comparisons:
Let us never forget that ‘Trump’ literally means ‘to fart’. #Trump

Donald Trump was just named Time’s Person of the Year. Hitler once held that title too https://t.co/HZ33yK0lgB

Ben McKenzie (who plays Commissioner Gordon) and Morena Baccarin (Dr Leslie Thompkins) are a couple in real life. No mistaking where their sympathies lie:

At least Sean Pertwee, another Gotham Brit, seems to be having more fun at Trump’s expense than his castmates:

Irish-Canadian actor Donal Logue- Harvey Bullock in the show- does tweet about other things than Trump but at a recent talk at Manhattan’s Paley Center, he declared he considered American politics to be as apocalyptic as Gotham‘s twisted universe:
.@donallogue says Donald Trump is a very Gotham-esque character. #PaleyFest #Gotham

While the Gotham cast may hate Trump, at least they’re not bringing the Donald into the show. Oh hang on, the Penguin (aka Oswald Cobblepot) had “Make Gotham Safe Again” as his campaign slogan, a hat tip to Trump’s “Make America Again”:
Robin Lord Taylor, who plays the Penguin told New York Comic Con recently: “I think the ‘Gotham’ writers are writing our actual reality right now, and that’s probably the scariest thing you can possibly imagine.”
