A leaker posted on Reddit what appears to be genuine concept art from Game of Thrones season 7 which appears to confirm the crucial “Dragonpit” scene which is rumored to occur during the finale
The art shows Tyrion Lannister, Bronn and what appears to be the back of Jon Snow’s head in front of the ruins of the Targaryen’s old dragon pit.
Another leaked photo doesn’t show much of anything.
According to earlier plot leaks, the dragon pit scene will include almost every major character. Queen Cersei and co. will meet with Queen Daenerys and co. (after a season of fighting) and parley at the pit. There, Jon Snow will arrive with a captured wight (one of the zombies in thrall of the white walkers) to prove to the lords of Westeros there is a real threat north of The Wall.
The spoiler blog Watchers on the Wall say they know that this scene will take place in the season finale. In the leaked plot, however, the season ends with John and Daenerys on a boat having sex while the Night’s King uses magic to knock down The Wall. But there’s probably room for both scenes.
Maisie Williams said in an interview with Time Out that season 7 ends in a huge cliffhanger. This probably refers to The Wall being torn down, which will have huge ramifications for the plot.
Hmmm. The Wall can also be seen as a cliff. It can’t be a coincidence.
