How the Rumors About Elizabeth Hurley and Bill Clinton Having an Affair Got Started

When it comes to relations between Bill Clinton and the opposite sex, future historians will spend days on end trying to establish what exactly went on between the 42nd President and certain women of his acquaintance.

But in the case of actress and model Elizabeth Hurley, who has often been romantically linked to Clinton, we can definitively say that Bill Did Not Have Sex With That Woman. (Finally, some good news for Hillary!)

Earlier this week, for instance, reports of leaked emails from Colin Powell revealing his opinion that Clinton is still “dicking bimbos” were illustrated on websites such as Conservative Outfitters with pictures of Hurley together with the former President.

A friend of Hurley tells Heat Street she is getting increasingly annoyed by the persistent circulation of rumors that the pair had a one-year relationship.

The affair was first alleged by Hurley’s former boyfriend actor Tom Sizemore, who was taped in 2014 claiming that he had set Hurley up with Clinton in 1998 following a screening of Saving Private Ryan. Sizemore, who was also in the movie, said the then- President had called her up saying: “Elizabeth, this is your Commander-in-Chief. I’m sending a plane to pick you up in three hours. Is that enough time?”

Sizemore further alleged that Clinton was smitten by Hurley and had demanded her contact details to arrange further meetings with the words,  “You dumb mother******. I’m the Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America. The buck stops here. Give me the damn number.”

He went on to claim that they then began a relationship, with Sizemore alleging that Clinton said to Hurley, “I don’t do love and I’m beginning to think I might love you.”

Hurley vehemently denied the allegations on Twitter swiftly after the story broke:

Ludicrously silly stories about me & Bill Clinton. Totally untrue. In the hands of my lawyers. Yawn.

Later on in the day, she tweeted:

Thank you very much for your (mostly) very nice comments on what has been a pretty gruesome day x

A friend of Hurley’s told Heat Street: “Liz still gets really annoyed that the story won’t go away and she hates the insinuation that she romanced Bill Clinton even more than when people cast aspersions on her acting ability.

“Bill Clinton and her met a few times at parties. That’s as far as the relationship went. Certainly many of her friends would most welcome Bill Clinton himself denying it ever happened.”

Sizemore admitted soon after the story broke that he had made the tale up in a drug-induced stupor. He confessed to never meeting Bill Clinton nor ever going to the White House. I’m not denying that I said these things,” he clarified to The Huffington Post. “I don’t remember saying them, but it’s an old video tape, and they’re the rantings of a guy…it’s been well-chronicled that I had a very severe drug problem.”

He also “apologized to [Hurley] for any hurt or BS I caused her or the Clintons or anybody else I may have mentioned.”

Sizemore’s personal life makes Anthony Weiner resemble Cary Grant. His Hollywood career has been overshadowed by domestic violence allegations and stints in prison for drug abuse. He was convicted in 2003 of assault and battery against his then-girlfriend, the former “Hollywood Madam” Heidi Fleiss.

In 2010, I accompanied Fleiss on a fact-finding parrot rescue mission in Nevada. She told us then that one of the ways she would get back at Sizemore’s assaults against her was by telephoning in advance the maître d‘ at the LA restaurant that they would be dining at that evening and request that when the pair arrived at the eatery, Sizemore be complimented on his performance in Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs.

Sizemore never acted in Reservoir Dogs (he was actually in the Tarantino-scripted Natural Born Killers).

The mistaken reference to his career would apparently infuriate Sizemore. Any notion of an affair between Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Hurley is equally off the reservation.
