Just in time for the premier of the sixth season of Game of Thrones, Moleskine introduces their Game of Thrones Limited Edition Collection notebooks in the most epic way possible. Moleskine knows that the introduction to this new notebook collection shouldn’t fall short of the greatness that is the book and TV show.
In Game of Thrones fashion, Moleskine stepped up and delivered what could be the best recreation of the TV Show’s opening sequence. Moleskine recreated King’s Landing with paper, 7,600 paper cut-outs to be exact.
Dadomani, a Milan-based animation studio, created the video for Moleskine. The cogs, gears and three dimensional fortresses are also made of paper entirely. Just like the HBO hit TV show’s opening sequences, everything is turning and moving.
The notebook collection is now available for purchase. Designer Levente Szabò made three designs, highlighting the most popular families in the story: Stark, Targaryen and Lannister. The Stark cover features the fierce and cunning wolf. The Targaryen cover features the fearless and fiery dragon, and the Lannister cover features the proud lion. Notebooks can be purchased separately or as a collection.
That’s not all. While the cover design in itself is worth the money, fans of Moleskine and Game of Thrones will also be treated to themed stickers, collage of film scenes in the inside cover, and a paper banderole where the family tree of the three families are drawn.
