No orchestra was present at Milo’s press conference Tuesday when he apologized for his declaring his support for pederasty—otherwise the violins would have come out when he emotionally announced: “I am sorry to other abuse victims, who may have interpreted what I said as flippant or uncaring, if my own personal way of dealing what happened to me has hurt you.”
Milo added: “I haven’t ever apologized before and I don’t anticipate ever doing it again…I regret the things I said.”
Really, Milo, you haven’t ever apologized before? What about that time two months ago when you went to Memories Pizza restaurant in Milwaukee in order to apologize on behalf of the gay community?
Memories Pizza became the target of left-wing activists in 2015 after they took advantage of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act signed by then-governor of Indiana Mike Pence (now Vice President) by refusing to cater for a gay wedding. In the words of Breitbart, a “social justice witch-hunt ensued.”
Milo visited Memories Pizza in December, bringing along a Breitbart TV crew, in order to, as the site’s headline put it, “apologize on behalf of the normal gays.”
Speaking about the backlash against the pizzeria, Milo declared to owner Kevin O’Connor: “It makes me ashamed of the gay lobby. I feel so sorry for you and I’m sorry that that happened to you…I’m sorry for what happened to you.”
As if we hadn’t got the message that he was apologizing, Milo announced in a news piece on Breitbart: “Gays have gone from having to hide in the closet to one of the most privileged groups in Western society, and I’m sorry to say that we haven’t been very magnanimous in victory.”
As well as apologizing for having said he’s never apologized before, Milo should also say he’s sorry for being increasingly less interesting than he was before the election.
