The photos Milo Yiannopoulos put up on his Instagram during his “Dangerous Faggot Tour”—filled with designer bags, Gucci shopping sprees and private jets—might make you think he was raking in big bucks from his college speaking tour.
But according to documents obtained from the University of Washington, Milo charged $0 to speak at the university in January.
Past Breitbart articles have said that Milo never charges students to hear him speak. So where’s all of his money coming from that allows him to live so fabulously? His only confirmed source of income at the time was an unknown salary from Breitbart News, where he was tech editor.
The newly unearthed documents suggests he was at least partially funded by Glittering Steel, LLC, a small production company that shares the same Beverly Hills address as Breitbart and other companies affiliated with billionaire Trump supporter Robert Mercer. Notably, Glittering Steel, LLC, was listed on the contract with the University of Washington as the point of contact for the Milo speaking engagement.
According to previous Breitbart articles, some of Milo’s ludicrous demands during his “Dangerous Faggot” speaking tour have included that “2 buckets KFC Extra Crispy thighs should be ready upon arrival; skin removed & set aside in third bucket,” “2 dozen white roses, de-thorned, cut to 8-9 inches,” a “room with east & west views,” “2 dozen limited-availability McRib sandwiches, and a vegan to watch me eat them,” among other requirements.
While those demands may have been at least partially satirical, the agreement between Milo and the University of Washington College Republicans shows only very modest requests from the college. They include a “Campus Security Detail,” Twenty Four (24) Bottle Case of Spring Water” and two “optional” hotel rooms.
Milo didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
