Internet Asks Why Cops Didn’t Shoot White ‘Face-Eater’ But Shoot So Many Blacks for Lesser Crimes

The Twitterverse is outraged over the double standard with cops’ handling of the white Floridian face eater this week. Police were able to subdue FSU student Austin Harrouff without injury after he killed two people with a knife and chewed on one’s face. Police first attempted to use stun guns and then a police dog to no avail before physically prying Harrouff off the dead man’s face.

Some are comparing this incident to another Florida man (black) who was shot in the leg by police after a video shows him lying on the ground with his hands up.

Also of note, in the last face-eating incident in Miami, the black face-eater was shot to death unlike Harrouff (who, by the way, was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat as if this story could not get any more bizarre.) The only difference was that while both were found on top of their victims eating their faces, the black face-eater’s victim was still alive when police arrived on the scene.
