The brawl over Target’s bathrooms continues.
Following a call to boycott Target stores over its trans-friendly bathroom policy from the American Family Association — which has now gathered over 1M signatures — dozens of angry boycotters have taken it upon themselves to show the rest of the world how a protest is done ‘right’.
These picketers are staging public tantrums all around the country. Last week, a man caused such a scene at a Target Store in Bradley, Illinois that personnel had to call the police under suspicion that the man was dangerous, prompting a lockdown of the portion of the mall where the store is located, a Chicago TV station WMAQ reported.
Police told WMAQ that the man’s repeated actions had spurred “panic among store employees and customers.”
“I do not want some wicked pervert in the same bathroom as my wife or my daughter,” he reportedly said on Facebook.
