Hollywood actor and outspoken Republican James Woods starred in Casino, Once Upon a Time in America and The Specialist. So he knows a thing or two about revenge.

Last year Keith Olbermann, the liberal political commentator and ‘uberdork’ as the New York Post‘s Page Six styled him, laid into Woods comparing him to Dr. Strangelove, the unhinged general played by Peter Sellers in Stanley Kubrick’s 1964 classic satire:

Now Woods has got payback on social media. Olbermann, who left MSNBC and ESPN under acrimonious circumstances, is now a Special Correspondent at GQ where he makes videos such as “Let’s Take a Look at Trump’s Cabinet of Villains”, “Should We Give Trump a Chance?” and “The Surprisingly Easy Way to Get Rid of Trump”.

Woods took exception to Olbermann unfurling himself in the US flag as part of his ‘Resistance’ activity for GQ. In particular he objected to the fact the flag touched the floor:

Woods wasn’t finished there, sarcastically responding to Olbermann’s unsolicited advice to Trump that he should “resign and flee”:

Surely “kooky Keith” won’t pass up the opportunity to respond.
