Joss Whedon, the Marvel filmmaker and Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator, is having a very hard time right now dealing with reality.
He has gone ballistic about Trump on Twitter in ways that make other Never Trump adherents seem like enthusiastic cheerleaders for the Donald by comparison:
This is simple: Trump cannot CANNOT be allowed a term in office. It’s not about 2018. It’s about RIGHT NOW
— Joss Whedon (@joss) November 14, 2016
Voter suppression
Russian hacking
FBI collusion
He has the office
BUT HE IS NOT WELCOME HERE
Keep investigating
Keep protesting#NEVERtrump— Joss Whedon (@joss) November 11, 2016
Letting trump take office means burying democracy.
Letting him take it without the popular vote means burying it alive.

“One day I’ll be president”, he thought, raping a 13 year old

Whedon’s frustration arises not only from an underlying hatred of Donald Trump but also that he donated half a million dollars of his own money to Hillary Clinton’s doomed Presidential bid, formed a SuperPAC Save the Day that supported her campaign with viral comedy videos and took a very public stance that his candidate would definitely win:

Understandably many Trump-Marvel fans aren’t wild about his rants:
Sad thing about @JossWhedon is that he’s talented. But instead of providing entertainment, his future work will be consumed by Trump anger

If you’re ever sad and feel like everything sucks, just remember Joss Whedon blew half a million dollars on his anti-Trump efforts. pic.twitter.com/k0KRHSvz7D

Whedon needs to calm down and maybe even contemplate quitting Twitter– as he did 18 months ago– before he does something he regrets.
Meantime we hope he’s not having a reunion with Trump supporter— and original Buffy — Kristy Swanson anytime soon…
