Dial +46 771 SWEDEN for the tourism play of the century.

Sweden has instituted the most random, lovable tourist attractor since Abba – or the Swedish chef hit the Muppets.

The home of Ikea and Crown Princess Victoria has set up a number where prospective tourists can ‘talk to a random Swede’ – we assume, one who has volunteered and speaks English.

Officials are calling it ‘The Swedish Number.’

But comments under the video range from the welcoming

Oh man, have I received many phone calls today . . .
It’s so much fun to talk to people from all over the world though!

to the not-so-chillaxed

But dont talk about immigration, dont have a sense of culture and aware of your ethnicity , be globalist neomarxist whore.

Swedish tourism officials cite the play as a response to the Brussels and Paris terrorist attacks, saying in a statement that giving the country ‘its own phone number’ was an answer to ‘troubled times’.

It’s certainly endearing, but may not be necessary. The Wall Street Journal reports that tourism to Europe has not suffered in the wake of the attacks, and that vacation bookings remain steady.
