Old Navy Edition: Journalists Find Racism on Web

First we brought you ‘Racists on the Internet: Harriet Tubman edition’. Tonight’s version is Old Navy. Go on the Old Navy hashtag on Twitter and you won’t find racism; you will find a million self-satisfied tweets outraged at barely-extant racism from a few trolls.

This is typical:

What racists? As i say, the hashtag is full of this sort of backslapping smugness:

Except, you know, people really aren’t upset. There are always a few racist trolls but a few is all they are. Buzzfeed The Trolls is making sure that there’s a fresh supply of goats under the bridge every day.

Here’s the response to the ad:

Now, as you see, Mak_morn3 is trying to smear Glenn Beck by calling himself ‘Glenn Beck fan’ and putting #NeverTrump in his profile quote. I ran a search; he has never mentioned the words ‘Glenn’ or ‘Beck’ in any tweet. He is in fact a massive Trump supporter and full time racist troll. He RTs another racist Trump fan who, lying as much as the Donald, states that he is an “ex-Democrat” (sure)

He also RTed Corey Lewandowski, who has blocked me but not this man:

In fact Trump fan Mak Morn’s biggest slice of racist hate, and there is plenty for all, is against Jews:

Again, is this man a ‘Glenn Beck fan’ or #NeverTrump? No. No he isn’t

This is how Trump Troll Mak reacted to the news that Trump isn’t building any wall and is for touchback amnesty

And guess what Buzzfeed? A couple of racists on the internet is, well, a matter for Twitter’s anti-Gamer, pro-racist Trust and Safety Council, but it doesn’t represent a lot of people, and your fauxtrage is getting boring. We will call this out every time a liberal rag represents three trolls as ‘Racists on the internet’ as though they mattered. They don’t.

Trip-trap, Buzzfeed, trip-trap.
