It’s not just Donald Trump who’s choking YUGE as the Alt-Right and Sean Hannity head for a Republican loss of truly epic proportions – unless new Republican entrant, the CIA’s Evan McMullin, can save the election.
Breitbart Media, once the brainchild of Andrew Breitbart and a trusted conservative source, have become Trump’s ‘whiny little bitch’ under lead Steve Bannon.
Breitbart hosts some great writers, among them Milo Yiannopoulos, banned by Twitter for being too cool while conservative, but alas, its credibility is in shreds as it has become an ‘in-the-tank-for-trump’ joke of a publication.
Nowhere was this gap better revealed than in the results of the recent Wisconsin Primary. Trump’s alt-right Nazi fanbots, from Russia, were pushing some random nonentity who thought of himself as Trump-lite as a challenger to Paul Ryan – something Trump actively encouraged.
He refused to endorse Ryan and set his alt-right 4chan bots to support loser Paul Nehlen.
Nehlen never stood a chance, but Breitbart shamefully pretended he did. Just get a load of these:
Stopped laughing yet? No? Here’s some more:
Panic! Paul Ryan was fleeing, in hiding, nervous and terrified. Some of those Reichbart thrillers include their criticism of Ryan for coming out against anti-semitic imagery used by the Trump campaign:
and “Team Ryan flinches” (LOL)
Towards the end, Trumpbart actually went with this:
No Debates, No Open Press Events, Declining Fox News: Paul Ryan Running Scared in Final Days Ahead of Primary Election
They wrote up the race as if Nehlen stood a prayer:
that Ryan is shunning former media allies and generally refusing interviews except with his closest friends on local radio shows how terrified he and his team are ahead of next week’s primary showdown with Nehlen. No recent polling has been done on the race, so it’s unclear whether Nehlen is within striking distance here on Tuesday. But Ryan’s team is certainly taking nothing for granted, especially after last cycle’s embarrassing loss by then House Majority Leader Eric Cantor to now Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA).
Republicans party-wide are aware that Nehlen may win, and are prepared to support him if he does beat Ryan.
The result? Ryan crushed Nehlen and Breitbart was a laughing stock.
This is of course as nothing to the general contempt Steve Bannon will receive in November when his site’s shilling leads to a probable Clinton triumph that makes Trump look worse than Walter Mondale (unless Evan McMullin can throw a spoke in the works).
Maybe they should smell the coffee. Because their stuff stinks.
