Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein is not a fan of Hillary Clinton, even going so far as to suggest that she might make a worse president than Donald Trump. “Trump says very scary things — deporting immigrants, massive militarism and ignoring the climate,” said Stein during an interview earlier this month. “Hillary, unfortunately, has a track record for doing all of those things.”
On Wednesday, Stein made her first major media appearance on CNN, and reiterated her argument that voters could be open to a third-party candidate because of widespread dislike and distrust of the major party candidates, Clinton and Trump.

Stein added the Green Party stands for many of the same issues raised by Hillary’s main opponent in the Democratic primary, Bernie Sanders. However, she faulted Sanders for “trying to have a revolutionary campaign in a counterrevolutionary party.” Real change, Stein said, was not possible within the two major parties.
