As Americans prepare their dinner tables for Christmas Day, Black Lives Matter in Atlanta is having trouble getting into festive mood.

The group went to Twitter to ask why black people celebrate Christmas when white people don’t celebrate black holidays, adding that the holiday is “powered by white supremacy.”

The official Atlanta-based group tweeted: “White folk do not worship any holiday belonging to black people. Why do black folks go all out for CHRISTMAS?”

The “woke” thought didn’t get much traction, collecting just a couple of likes. Some people replied saying “You’re just a disgrace.”

Another person replied: “I don’t know maybe because they can do whatever the hell they want and no stupid ass twitter account can stop them.”

The grumpy activists from Atlanta also tweeted yesterday explaining their opposition to the holiday. The tweet read: “Christmas is a corporate holiday that does nothing but generate millions of dollars for white businesses powered by white supremacy.”
